Trade Test Registry
About Trade Test
The Training Boards of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) organise tests for trades within their own scope of work. VTC implements the trade tests and awards certificates while the Trade Test Registry processes the applications and issues test results and certificates. Candidates meeting the specific requirements are eligible to apply on a voluntary basis. For details, please refer to respective trade test guidebooks.

* Should Test Fees are composed of Written Test and Practical Test, please settle the Written Test fee first. The application and test fee for Practical Test should be submitted AFTER passing of the Written Test.
Application Procedures
Registration Procedures
Applicants should submit the completed application form together with copies of the required supporting documents by hand or by post to the Trade Test Registry. Application forms can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the Registry.
Online application is available for Electrician Trade Test. Please visit: https://ttrs.vtc.edu.hk.

Payment Methods
Electrician Trade Test
For applications submitted in person or by post, please make the payment to 7-Eleven Convenience Store within 2 weeks upon receipt of payment slip.
For applications submitted online, please download the Payment Slip after receiving payment notice email by logging into the system and make the payment to 7-Eleven Convenience Store.
Other Trade Tests (Except Electrician)
Applicants should pay by cash, crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to “Vocational Training Council”.
Notice
1. Applications can be submitted in person, by a representative or by post. Online application is only applicable for Electrician Trade Test.
2. For applications submitted by post, a photocopy of the applicant’s Hong Kong Identity Card is required for verification purpose and it will be destroyed afterwards.
3. For applications of reassessment of practical test, applicant should attach a copy of his/ her latest Practical Test Result.
4. Please do not send cash or original documents by post.
5. No photocopying services are provided at the Registry.
