Registration Procedures
Applicants should submit the completed application form together with copies of relevant documents, passport photo and assessment fees by hand or by post to the Centre for Vocational Assessment. Application form can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the Centre.
Payment Methods
Applicants should pay by cash, crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to “Vocational Training Council”.
Notice
1. Applications can be submitted in person, by proxy or by mail.
2. Applicants should submit the application with a recent digital photograph in colour with white background. No head covering is allowed unless it is for religious or medical reasons. The size of the digital photograph should be at least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall with no less than 50KB or over 600KB. (For applicants submitting a print photograph, the size of the photograph should be 33mm (width) x 48mm (height). The head width for the person in the photograph should be between 21mm to 24mm and the head height, measured from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head, should be between 28mm to 33mm.)
3. Applicants must provide documentary proofs of work experience to the Centre for Vocational Assessment issued by the employer or an authorised person (such as department heads or supervisors) to ensure the applicant possesses relevant work experience with sufficient competence. The reference document should include the applicant’s post title, scope of duty and years of work experience. If the aforesaid evidence of years of work experience are unavailable, applicants may submit other supplementary evidences (e.g. attestation of jobs issued by registered trade associations or labour unions, tax demand notes, payroll slips, or business registration certificates of the self-employed).
4. For applications submitted by post, a photocopy of the applicant’s Hong Kong Identity Card is required for verification purpose and it will be destroyed afterwards.
5. Please do not send cash or original documents by post. Applicants will be contacted for document verification once the application is received by the Centre. For applications submitted by a representative, original copies of the supporting documents should be provided for verification.
6. The Centre of Vocational Assessment supports Equal Opportunity Policy. For applicants with special needs, please specify in Part A of the Application Form and provide medical evidence issued by a registered medical practitioner (if applicable). The Centre will provide assistance and make necessary arrangement.
7. No photocopying services are provided at the Centre.
